Summary:  In response to multiple requests at GLEON 9, this group formed from individuals wanting help in building and deploying new buoys.  The group consensus was that the knowledge base within GLEON be documented and that GLEON become a resource for the actual nuts and bolts of building and deploying a buoy.  The goal is to provide as much documentation covering as many of the questions raised by the group and to make these documents available to members on the GLEON web site.
