GLEON 21

GLEON 21 All Hands' Meeting, 4-8 November 2019
Deerhurst Resort, Huntsville (Muskoka), Ontario, Canada

The GLEON 21 All Hands’ Meeting will be held at Deerhurst Resort in the Muskoka Region of Ontario, Canada just 250 km north of the city of Toronto. The Muskoka Watershed is home to over 2000 lakes embedded in mixed temperate forests with its headwaters originating in nearby Algonquin Park, the oldest, and one of the largest, provincial parks in Ontario boasting 2,000 kms of interconnected canoe routes. The region, known for its extraordinary beauty and tranquility, is home to many species of wildlife, including wolves, deer, moose, bears, beavers and over 250 bird species. Lakes in the region span the gradient from small dystrophic bogs and wetlands to large oligotrophic waters – something for everyone! Please join us, eh?

The GLEON 21 meeting will be hosted by Jim Rusak (Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks and Queen’s University) and Shelley Arnott (Queen’s University).
