Citizen science project shows systematic change in the convective heat transfer between air and water with global warming

In this project we examined the difference between in situ air and water temperure to study variations in the conductive heat transfer between air and water. We used data from about 100 lakes, streams, and rivers in Sweden and high frequency data from 12 different lakes distributed across the Northern Hemisphere. The project is now published in Scientific Reports.
